Preachers, Prosecutors and Politicians

The preachers mindset is telling us “I have already found the truth and my job now is to convince everyone of what I know to be true”.

The prosecutors mindset is telling us “I’m trying to win an argument which means, I must prove you wrong”.

The politicians mindset is telling us “I’m going to tell you what you want to hear, in order to get your approval or endorsement”.

The ego is present in all of these mindsets.

Be honest, how often do you jump from one of these mindsets to another?

Do any of these truly serve us?  Why are any of these mindsets ever a priority?

I suspect it has to do with a deep rooted desire to feel worthy.

Detach your self worth from a specific outcome and re-attach it to a behavior.

A behavior that tells you to show up.

To try to make a difference – every day, in the lives of those you care about.

To NEVER stop showing up in the arena of life.

Leave the preacher, prosecutor and politician behind.

Show up alone.
