The most visible objects in our lives often seem to be our failures – our shortcomings.
In many ways we cannot help it – we are wired to see them.
But we mustn’t pass judgement in haste.
For we cannot know and may never come to discover what successes we contributed to in the journey that lead us to the end of our own road.
We owe it to ourselves to recognize that we may have very well been the spark to someone else’s success.
We must let this chance act as the kindle to the flame that burns in us to try.
And try again.
